There is a huge number of great concertists who plays on Greg Smallman’s guitars (John Williams, Xuefei Yang, Milos Karadaglic,..). Their guitars are among for sure the best Greg Smallman’s. Domenic Roscioli lattice 2022 No183

Here is the fourth lattice from Domenic # 183 that we are lucky to list. Domenic has been making guitar since the 90s and established his brand in 2001.  Domenic build his first guitar with the help of a luthier that we know very well John Price and then developed his skills with the great Jim Redgate who became his mentor and taught him the secrets of making lattice guitars. 

Jean-Noël Lebreton doubletop 2022  No186

Jean-Noël Lebreton is surely the best double-top builder in France. This new No 186 from 2022 is even better than the last one we had in 2021. Jean-Noël used both balsa and nomex for this one. The sound is amazing: fat and rich basses with warm and thick trebles..

François Régis Léonard is French and making great guitars. We shoot a comparison with his latest cedar top guitar against the Daniel Friederich from 1981 we had in the showroom. A nice image of how the French lutherie has developped.

Last month we received a Hermann Hauser copy from Valentim Carlos Gomes from Brazil and we made a comparison video with the Daniel Friederich from 1981. Listen to the comparison, for a small portion of the price of a Friederich you could have a lovely guitar.
