Just to be clear : no copy from master guitars are 100% comparable to original guitars. Friederich, Bouchet, Torres, Fleta and Hauser became famous Masters of the lutherie because they were building unique instruments. However these amazing Masters are a true inspiration for the young builders who can integrate some of their innovations in their own guitars. Here are some luthiers that are building 'Hommage' guitars inspired by some of these famous masters.

When I met Will Hamm last year and tried his Yamandu Costa model, I had to order one of his Yamandu Costa guitars. The guitar’s craftmanship is awesome and the guitar is offering some nice innovations such as the Pau Ferro Turnavoz or as for the neck construction. The sound is big, thick, and with an amazing definition which explains why the Maestro Yamandu Costa purchased 8 guitars from Will Hamm.

Here is a chance to get a preowned Graham Caldersmith. Graham was one of the Australian luthiers who contributed to developing the lattice guitars. His guitars are played by many famous players. Graham sadly passed away a few years ago. This No 95 has been made by Graham and is among the very best guitars from Graham. As usual, the same musical qualities for which Graham Caldersmith guitars are famous: a warm-sounding guitar with creamy and singing trebles.

As you know we do sell very few traditional guitars apart from Daniel Friederich guitars and are offering mostly modern guitars such as double-top and lattice. So why did we change our mind and propose a Fleta-inspired model… simply because we have been blown away by this No 199 Fleta-inspired of Domenic Roscioli. The sound is simply marvelous and the guitar a joy to play. We had last year in the showroom a great Daniel Friederich and a ‘Fleta’ from Domenic Roscioli, just for the pleasure we shoot a short comparison (all the guitars from Domenic are consistent).

Just in the new Leona Case from Luthier series: a 3.1 kg flight case which fits all the guitar size (like the Visesnut). A modern look and good quality materials. We will make a video comparison soon between the Visesnut cases and the Leona cases. These cases are made to be used to travel in a plane.
