Dominique Delarue is a renowned French Luthier who is surely considered as one of the best luthiers of the French lutherie school. His guitars are inspired by the work of Daniel Friederich and could be considered as quite close to the Friederich despite the fact that Dominique Delarue said that he was as well highly inspired as well by the work of Ignacio Fleta. The No 397 is in close to brand new condition.

For once, here is a French luthier Jean-Marie Fouilleul who is offering an innovative guitar halfway between a traditional guitar and a lattice guitar. The guitar is a sort of traditional braced guitar with however some carbon in the bracing and a support called Arche inside to strengthen the sides. The craftsmanship is exquisite. The result: a loud guitar with a crystal-clear sound with a great string separation.

François Régis Léonard is a French builder who is making ‘traditional’ lattice guitars. He is aiming first at building guitars with a sound and a tone color in line with the French lutherie school: which means traditional sound rather clear like the Friederich with some dynamics. To achieve this target his guitar are including a lattice braced top with no balsa and no carbon on a solid wood body.

Here is a very interesting guitar from an Innovative French luthier Jean-Luc Joie who invented the concept of double-top braceless guitars in the 80s. Jean-Luc Joie makes 2 types of guitars: concert models such as the one played the well-known player Thibaut Cauvin and ‘semi concert guitars based on the same concept but at a more affordable price such as this model J (J like Joie).
