It’s been a long time since we did not find a Daniel Friederich fro the 80s is such a great condition. The sound is of course what you could expect from a Friederich made during the golden years of Daniel Friederich. The guitar sings like in a dream with amazing trebles. Most importantly, the condition of the guitar is amazing

Everybody knows that Granada is the place where you will find some of the greatest luthiers of Spain, Mario Aracama is one of those. His guitar offers the sweetness of the Granada sound plus a great dynamic. The high quality of the Granada sound is there but with some loudness, halfway from the voice of a traditional guitar and the loudest double top or lattice guitar, a clear traditional tone with wonderful basses.

Michael Cadiz is a luthier – raised in the US and based now in Austria – who has mostly 2 types of models: the ones which are very close for some iconic guitars such as Romanillos or Hauser, and one Concert model which is including his own take of the work of a lot of different luthiers. This guitar is what I would call a ‘modern’ traditional guitar offering a big voice with deep basses and sprucy crystal-clear trebles.

Vasilis Vasileiadis double-top guitars are pieces of art, magnificent with craftsmanship that could compete with the best master of the ’60s and 70’s Spanish school. But that is not the important thing: what is amazing is the sound quality. This number 182 is louder than the former guitar from Vassilis but most importantly warmer! Mostly because Vasilisa is now using Nomex for the inner core of his top.
