We have been asked many times to list a SPRUCE top, Daniel Friederich. They are very rare and most of them have been made prior to 1970. Many of them are in bad condition, or with too many modifications which changed too much the guitar. Here is a 1963 Daniel Friederich in very good condition. Only one owner purchased the guitar from Daniel Friederich.

Very rare: a cedar top concert model from Hideo Sato! The cedar brings a lot of overtones and strong dynamics. The guitar is a traditional braced guitar but which is not that much traditional (the bracing is a pure invention from the Sato Family) and to us the sound is much closer in volume to a double-top or a lattice guitar. The tone colors are thus very traditional but with huge dynamics. The sound is very close to the ones of Kazuo Sato (his father) but with a little bit more dynamic. It is a dream guitar!

Surely the best Fleta-inspired guitar we got from Domenic Roscioli so far !As you know we do sell very few traditional guitars apart from Daniel Friederich guitars and are offering mostly modern guitars such as double-top and lattice. So why did we change our mind and propose a Fleta-inspired model… simply because we have been blown away by this No 188 Fleta-inspired of Domenic Roscioli. The sound is simply marvelous and the guitar a joy to play.

Valentim Carlos Gomes is a very Brazilian luthier making Daniel Friederich and Herman Hauser replicas. Here is an amazing Herman Hauser replica which is surely one of the sweetest traditional guitars that we ever played. The guitar is super light and offers crystalline and pure trebles supported by direct and spontaneous basses which are pretty deep. As a result, the guitar is sweet with a great balance between the basses and the trebles, the sustain is amazing and the overall sound is clear and deep.
