Numerous luthiers have developed strong know-how to produce some loud guitars with a traditional voice with deep basses and crystal-clear trebles. Daniele Marrabello 2023 No 159

Here is a guitar from Daniele Marrabello who is a young luthier based in Milan. His guitars are inspired by the Spanish Torres guitars with a very light body and develop a big sound that is comparable to a double-top guitar. The guitar is already amazing and will get better with time because of the spruce. Listen to Philippe’s review, you will love it.

Giuseppe Guagliardo Spruce 2022

Here is a spruce top with all the sound complexity of the spruce. The guitar is offering a sweet sound with a huge string separation and a good balance between brightness and warmness. The sound is crystal clear and the playability is amazing.

Eugenio Naso from Bologna. The limited edition is made exclusively for the 2022 luthier Roma Expo Guitars –  REG. Amazing spruce with bearclaw and cocobolo rosewood back and sides. You will love it. Pure warm sound with a loud sound.

Gerardo Centonze is making guitars inspired by the Torres but with a lot of dynamics and a long sustain. His building philosophy is inspired by the great Spanish school. Great attention is also paid to details, as it also emerges in the aesthetic choices. His guitars aim at meeting a more contemporary taste. All the instruments are French polished. Claudia D'Ammassa double-top

Here is a double top made by a young luthier from Roma Claudia d’Ammassa. Claudia is using scientific measurement techniques to create guitars which are offering great dynamics but also a wonderful traditional sound. Highly inspired by all the Italian masters, the guitars from Claudia d’Ammassa have thick and warm colors with a big voice. The guitar is due to arrive in March 2023.
