Dear friends,
|
|
You will find in this newletter very different guitars. However they all share one common point : they offer a great dynamic which enables to play in big hall. You will find as well a video with one of our client Jules Hemmi playing his Jim Redgate. Take care

Here is a brand new Masaki Sakurai from 2022. Very consistent with the ones we had before : very responsive and very balanced. The luthier Masaki Sakurai is the nephew of Masura Kohno who passed away in 1998. Masaki Sakurai produces two guitar ranges: some classical guitars inspired by his uncle Masura Kohno under the brand Sakurai Kohno and his one product line under his own name Sakurai. This Sakurai Maestro guitar is his most advanced model and includes his latest innovations.

Huge sound, and fantastic tone colors. The Koumridis lattice guitars are getting better and better. This No 211 (like the last No 204) is a new lattice guitar from Charalampos Koumridis. We already said that Charalampos Koumridis is surely our rising star. This No 211 includes a frame inside the guitar which reduces the weight of the guitar, and allows more dynamics with a traditional tone..

Constantin Dumitriu makes lattice guitars that are one-of-a-kind: here is his new model 2023 which is lighter, louder, and warmer with thicker notes and more overtones. That is surely one of our best concert guitars. The guitar is full of innovations such as a reflector to push the sound outside and a soundport that can be closed.. The sound is loud, warm, and well-balanced. The playability is amazing. Just unbelievable!

A brand new Douglas Scott is due to arrive soon next month. This is surely the best traditional guitar made in Canada. Douglass makes traditional guitars with crystal-clear sound and great dynamics. What are his guitars offering? Simply a broader tonal palette, increased sustain, increased warmth, deeper bass, and more trebles. His guitars are played by great players such as Tariq Harb.

The Little Library Concerts objectives are to show our customers playing with the guitar they have purchased from us. The idea is to close the loop by offering them the use of our recording studio. Jules Hemmi is from the South West of France where he won his prize at the Maurice Ravel Conservatory in Bayonne in 2016. He continued his musical studies until he obtained his teaching degree in Metz in 2018, then his interpreter degree in 2021 in Rennes with Michel Grizard. The same year, he obtained second prize at the International Guitar Competition “Juan Crisostomo de Arriaga” in Bilbao. Jules plays on a Jim Redagte guitar.
