We had the chance to list in December the most sought concert guitars coming from Australia, a brand-new Jim Redgate lattice, a brand-new spruce top Simon Marty and a fantastic 2004 Greg Smallman and sons. We had to make a small comparison video. They are offering a full and marvelouse sounds. .. For those who still think that lattice guitars cannot compete with traditional guitars!

François-Régis Léonard is a French builder who is making ‘traditional’ lattice guitars. He is aiming first at building guitars with a sound and a tone color in line with the French lutherie school: which means traditional sound rather clear like the Friederich but with a great dynamics like the ones you will find on a lattice or a DT.

Here is the latest guitar from Ashley Sanders: the number 72. Ashley is an Australian luthier who builds only 3 to 4 guitars per year. His lattice guitars are not at all based on the Smallman-type guitars but share some similarities with the Jim Redgate guitars.
