Last summer, for his 500th guitar, Jim built a DT that he showed to the great Ana Vidovic (if you search on YT you will find the video). And guess what! Ana was so impressed (although, she loved her Lattice) that she ordered a DT in addition to her lattice. Ana’s guitar was made in the same time as this n° 526 and we can say that this new DT is 100% similar to the new one that Ana received. This guitar is a gem and offers the sound qualities of the DT (deepness, warmth, and thickness) with the signature of Jim.

Johannes Kitselis 2024 No 80 doubletop
Here is our third DT from Johannes and each time we are surprised by the quality of his DT. This DT No 80 is loud, natural-sounding with a very sweet sound. The back and sides are doubled which gives a full body to the notes which are thick and deep. Listen to the review video, you will be convinced that Johannes guitars can easily compete with the best German double-tops.

Ryosuke Kobayashi 2024 No 96 RF - Japan
We are proud to introduce you to Ryosuke Kobayashi, a young Japanese luthier building ‘modern’ traditional guitars. His guitars are course influenced by the work of the great masters, but as well by modern builders. As conclusion, his guitar are as loud as doubletops and offer a wonderful crystal clear traditional sound. The trebles are long and thick. Surely one of the very best Japanese luthier of today. His guitars are played by a young gifted French guitarist Antoine Boyer.

Thomas Norwood Esteso 2011 - France
Thomas Norwood was an American luthier based in Paris. Thomas specialized in replicating the great guitars of the turn of the century, such as the Torres and Ramirez. Here is a copy of a Domingo Esteso (1882 – 1937) made from the plans of a Domingo Esteso from 1932. Thomas guitars benefit from exceptional craftsmanship and an incomparable selection of woods.

Andreas Madimenos 2023 No 60 - Greece
Our last crush: a lattice guitar with a loud and natural sound. This lattice guitar No 60 is similar to the No 50 and 48 and is the brand new model from Andreas Madimenos – Greece. The objective was to create a loud and highly musical guitar that could easily compete with Greg Smallman’s guitars. You should watch Philippe’s review and the comparison video that we made with a 2014 Greg Smallman guitar. You will love it
