Angelo Vailati is a young maker who starts to build guitars in the early 2000s. He has been trained partly by Enrico Botelli, José Luis Romanillos, and Daniel Chiesa and is considered as one of the rising stars of the Italian luthiery. This guitar is light as the Antonio Torres guitar and is offering deep basses and clear trebles. The overtones are adding a natural reverberation to the sound. Lots of pleasure with as well a neck which is particularly nicely shaped. Listen to Philippe’s review, you will love it.
Like many Italian builders, the craftmanship is top-notch, very elegant. The rosette is a piece of art. The woods have been selected among the best quality and the polish is amazing in beauty. The overall design of the guitar is simply wonderful. Angelo chooses for the tuners some white ‘Light model’ from Alessi which are very elegant.
Angelo Vailati uses a spruce top fitted with a traditional five-fan bracing to produce rich overtones and pure trebles supported by some deep basses.
