Daryl Perry Concert model 2023 No 251 – Canada

Daryl Perry guitars are played by amazing concert guitarists: Marcin Dyllais one of them and owns 3 Perry guitars. This number 251 is his concert model and was built by Daryl and his son Jesse at the same time as another guitar which will be delivered to Marcin again. As one could expect the sound is full, and open with deep well-defined basses, clear singing trebles, and exceptionally well-balanced. Still very much inspired by Torres, the sound is warm with a great dynamic and plenty of color. Listen to the videos you will love them.

Daryl Perry is making guitars with his son Jesse. Their guitars are inspired by the Torres design. Perry guitars fall into two categories of guitars: a Torres model and a Concert model. Here is how Daryl describes the differences between these 2 models:
” The Torres model is, of course, smaller than the concert guitar, and more lightly made. The goal is a very responsive guitar with a  more focused, centred sound, as opposed to the fuller resonance and the slightly more robust feel of the concert guitar. One might say that the emphasis in the Torres model is slightly more in favour of colour palette, and in the concert model on dynamic range. In the larger picture, though, I am really after the same things in all of my guitars – well-balanced bass to treble, string to string, note to note and a quick response where the sound flows easily and quickly from the guitar”
This number 251 is a Concert model and is close in design to the 3 guitars that Marcin Dylla is playing.
