Enrico Bottelli 1999 cedar – Italia

Born in 1961, Enrico Bottelli has built guitars inspired by the great Spanish masters since 1988. He is a benchmark in terms of craftsmanship and has trained a large number of luthiers who are now making a name for themselves in the Italian lutherie world (Angela Vailati and Daniele Marrabello, to name but a few, trained with Enrico). This 1999 cedar is in perfect condition, with a round, complex sound. The video review will be available in early December.

Enrico Bottelli occupies a special place among Italian luthiers, and is a benchmark for the aesthetic and tonal quality of his instruments.  What best describes his instruments is their density and richness of sound, with the cedar adding extra roundness. The sound balance is perfect and the tone elegant.
The guitar has been meticulously cared for and shows no signs of repair. The top has recently been varnished to the highest standard. The guitar is in perfect condition with only a small last mark on the high E string.
The pitch is 65 cm and the width at the nut is 54 mm, but the string spacing is completely standard. For those who want a larger string spacing, they just will have to change the saddle to get the guitar as they wish.
