We just received our fourth double top # 550 from Jan Schneider and like the No. 521. The sound is warm and loud with clear string separation and the craftsmanship is great. Have a look at the review video, you won’t regret it!
Jan doubletop does not use Nomex but cedar inside which is carved to gain volume and replace the nomex. As a result, the guitar provides a warm tone with thick notes and a good projection.
