We met Jan Schneider at the Brussels Guitar Festival who is the fourth generation of the Schneider Family. Guitarmaking is a family story which started in 1924 in the Czech Republic. We liked so much his guitars, that we decided to purchase one of his double top: the No. 454. The sound is warm and loud with clear string separation and the craftsmanship is great.
Jan doubletop does not use Nomex but cedar inside which is carved to gain volume and replace the nomex. As a result, the guitar provides a warm tone with thick notes and a good projection.
