Additional information

Youri Soroka is a Franco-Ukrainian luthier specialising in double-top classical and concert guitars. He is based in Auvergne. Here is one of his latest double-top guitars.

The top consists of two cedar tops joined together. This construction lightens the top whilst making it more rigid, offering exceptional freedom whilst maintaining its structural stability over time. The response is immediate, with low resistance to playing and a wide dynamic range.

Here is how Youri describes the tonal profile of this double-top:

Fast, sensitive response
Low body resonance (~F)
Wide dynamic range
Warm fundamental with clear overtone definition
Strong projection with natural balance across registers
Raised ebony fingerboard
Excellent sustain in the trebles.
