Alexander Pashentsev makes double tops which are sort of unique. He uses for his tops 2 very thin slices of wood (no balsa, no carbon) which makes the top stiffer and lighter and allows to have a very all wood lattice bracing. As a result: a woody tone is very natural crystal clear with a dynamic very close to traditional guitars but loud enough to fill a big hall. A great opportunity for a very reasonable price.
It is well known that there are in Russia some huge guitar players and incredible luthiers as well. High quality at a great price!

Alexander is born in 1974 and has a degree in science – chemistry – and has played guitar with a great teacher Sergei Bizyaev – Alexander is an amazing player. He started to make classical guitars in 2001 and in 2012 he spent some time in Sevilla where he learned the Spanish lutherie.
This is the number 202 and the guitar is a double-top using only wood to keep as much as possible a woody sound.
Alexander uses cedar for the outside layer and cedar for the inside layer which is quite unusual. As a result, the guitar offers huge overtones and crystal-clear trebles.
We have been surprised by the sound quality of Alexander guitar which is very close to traditional guitar but with additional power, a great dynamic range and sustain.

- 65 cm string length
- 12-hole-tie block
- extra C note
