Dieter Hopf offers a full range of classical guitars including top concert guitars. There are 4 master luthiers dedicated to the concert guitars production and M. Dieter Hopf is mostly in charge of fine-tuning the new models and the research and development. The Auditorium model is one of the latest model developed by Dieter Hopf. The target was to make a modern concert version version with non-cites-listed wood of the lattice Portentosa Evolucion or Grande Furioso which could be as well more affordable.
So the guitar Auditorium includes a lattice bracing with a spruce top, awesome solid maple back and side, a specially-developed bridge with some sound holes. The neck has some inlays of black wood which give to the guitar a particular esthetic. The polish used is a mat polish which gives the guitar a very modern blonde look which is quite far from the ‘old spanish’ look of the Portentosa
