Don’t miss this amazing luthier from Japan. Hiroyasu is building guitars very much inspired by the concept of Radial bracing invented in Australia by Simon Marty and Robin Moyes. The bracing (balsa and carbon) is based on a radial arrangement of the bars around the saddle resulting in an increased volume and quicker response, the back and sides are laminated. This 2023 is loud with crystal clear but very thick trebles, the string separation is amazing and the sustain is endless. The playability is perfect. Just everything you need!

Hiroyasu Asakura is 45 and based in Tokorozawa Japan close to Tokoy. He learned guitar making from Yoshikane Fukuoka starting in 2001. He is mainly influenced by modern guitar luthiers such as Greg Smallman & Sons, Simon Marty, and John Gilbert. He has been gaining recognition in recent years by winning the 1st prize in a guitar-making competition in 2014 organized by Gendai Guitar Co.
He is using a radial bracing similar to the one invented by Simon Marty and the back and sides are laminated. The materials are top quality and as one could expect the workmanship is flawless.
Hiro has developed his own vision of sound with a guitar which is among the loudest but with a traditional/modern sound crystal clear with a huge sustain.
