Antonio Torres is surely one of the greatest guitarmaker in the guitar history. Great guitar players such as Francisco Tarrega worked with Antonio Torres to develop  what will be the absolute reference of the Spanish guitar. The good copies of Antonio Torres guitars are rare and many luthiers are just copying the shape of Torres guitars without getting close to the famous Torres magic sound. Dominik Wurth is a German luthier who is making since many years two Torres model. This guitar is close to be the exact replica of the 1864 FE17 Francisco Tarrega guitar.

The body is sliglty smaller than a traditional guitar with a 64 cm string length. The wood used for the back and sides is a wonderful flamed maple. The top is in spruce and has a Tornavoz which is a metal cylinder which aims at increasing the sustain and adding medium. The result is amazing : the guitar has a warm and thick sound which is quite loud for such a small body guitar. The guitar is extremly light.

The only thing that the guitar does not have compare to the original model : the bindings are just a little bit simplier.
