The Traditional 1a has a premium red cedar top and beautiful bookmatched Indian rosewood back and sides.The cedar neck is topped with an ebony fretboard and a bone nut, and has a strip of ebony for structural reinforcement. The traditional slotted headstock is faced with Indian rosewood and is fitted with engraved exposed gear gold tuners with ivoroid buttons. The rosette is a mosaic of red roses entwined by green stems. The rosewood bridge features a bone saddle and a bone bordered harness for securing the string ends.

The Traditional 1a is a world class instrument has the balanced powerful tone, beauty, and playability associated with classic Ram­rez guitars and comes with a European made hardshell case.
