Luthier Paul Sheridan 2025 No 257 – Australia

This Paul Sheridan guitar, No. 257, is a true gem. It features a spruce top and a Cocobolo back and sides, with a 64 cm scale length. 64 cm is the standard scale length for Paul Sheridan guitars, and it has a raised fingerboard. This guitar is undoubtedly one of the most powerful Australian-made guitars available.

This classical guitar, with its spruce top, clearly falls into the category of Greg Smallman-style lattice guitars, though it offers a more natural tone with beautiful voice separation and harmonic complexity in the notes. I can’t resist sharing some videos of Australian guitarist Stephanie Jones playing a Sheridan.
