Max made some changes to this new guitar (new rosette, new headstock). The guitar is not only gorgeous looking but sounds like a dream, the guitar is slightly louder than the last one and more importantly, offers a crystal-clear sound. The guitar is very light, with a top of 2 slices of cedar/spruce (not 3 slices as on the regular DT). For the back and sides, Max took an attractive set of Santos Rosewood. The sound is big and the playability is amazing. You have a look at the review video.
The cedar brings to the guitar a warm tone and the DT and the light body has a very direct dynamic which brings a lot of pleasure to the player.
The guitar is much closer to a traditional guitar and from a DT. Max is a builder with a strong personality and the design of the guitar and the wood selection are one of a kind.

Max is a guitar player and as well a luthier. He makes traditional, lattice and double top guitars and is based in Vilnius Lithuania. He is mostly a self-taught luthier and is focusing most of his research on sound quality. Not surprising that GFA winner Anton Baranov and Tali Roth professor that the New York Julliard college have chosen his guitar.
