Roberto de Miranda Limited Edition Roma expo 2024

The first time I learned about Roberto de Miranda was in 2002, I purchased the Naxos Cd of LLobet music from Lorenzo Micheli. Micheli is a great player but there was something wonderful in the guitar sound that I remembered years after. Now my dream comes true: here is a brand new guitar from Roberto de Miranda Limited Edition from 2023 Roma Expo. Traditional sound, Torres inspired but with the secret recipe of Roberto to boost the sound volume while keeping intact the timbral qualities and tone. Philippe and I would rate this guitar among the very best traditional guitar you could find.

The guitar sounds wonderful, is easy to play and offer a great projection.

Roberto is born in Milan in 1960 and graduated in 1984 from the ‘School of lutherie of Vignate’. Then he took some courses in Spain with the Maestro José Luis Romanillos in 1992, 1993,1994 and 1996 and specialized in Antonio Torres guitars. In 1998 he’s been using new construction projects of his own design that aimed a boosting the sound volume while keeping intact the timbral qualities and tone. In 2014, he won the ‘golden prize’ of lutherie at the Alessandria International guitar convention. His guitars are played by famous guitarists such as Lorenzo Micheli, Matteo Mela, Frederic Zigante, Drew Henderson and many others.
