Vincent Humml 2022 No 45 – Germany

Here is the new double-top No 45 from 2022 from Vincent Humml, which is very similar to the No 35 we had last year  (Vincent used some wood coming from the same trees). Like the last one, this guitar is one step ahead of the original double-tops made in Germany by Gernot Wagner and Matthias Dammann in the ’80s. The sound is pure, loud, very thick, and elegant. The guitar produces a three-dimension sound which is amazing. Have a look at the video review, you will be surprised..

The craftsmanship is top-notch and tasteful. The rosette and the inlays are sort of ‘art deco’ inspired. The binding and the polish are immaculate.

The playability is as well remarkable. The guitar is highly responsive with a big response which remains however very sensitive to the player’s intentions. The basses are round and warm and the trebles clear and thick.
