Top is spruce and back and side plain Indian rosewood
As you know Daniel Friederich are the most sought classical guitar in the world. Every week we receive from all over the world enquiries of players on Daniel Friederich guitars. So it is not surprising that prices are skyrocketing. As an important guitar dealer, we have noticed that the demand for Friederich largely exceed the demand for old legendary guitars such as Fleta, Hauser of Romanillos. The only exception is maybe the Bouchet guitars. Because of the high inflation on prices we have many owners who proposed their Friederich at a high price whatever the guitars conditions and we have turned down many of them because we thought that the prices were illegitimate because the condition was not so perfect or the Friederich too old.
We have a great Friederich for sale from 1972 spruce Top Indian rosewood in very good condition. This Friederich from 1972 is structurally like the one of the 80’s which made the reputation of Daniel Friederich which means that the guitar has the double side which are characteristics of the latest Daniel Friederich. The guitar is in great condition and plays like a dream:
The guitar has been professionally repaired from a crack on the top a longtime ago and the top professionally repolished with the same tainted colour. It seems to us that only the top has been repolished. The back as well has been repaired from a small crack. The repairs are of course invisible on the guitar both on the top and the back. Apart from that everything is original. The top does not have many play wares and the guitar is in very good condition with no issue on the polish. The case is Hiscok case.
Most importantly, the guitar plays great, with a perfect set up and a wonderful sound thanks to a very opened spruce top. When we recorded the guitar, Philippe said that the guitar was better than the 1971 that we sold last year.
