Let’s see the specifications :
- The 11th generation ‘wave resonator’ is how the double top is assembled – a secret, registered process without Nomex or Balsa.
- 7th generation ‘High-tech press’: This technique concerns the way in which the back and sides are assembled to stiffen them while retaining their lightness.
- 11th generation ‘Acoustic tubes’: inside the neck you have an opening that generates sound for the guitarist, the sound reaches the guitarist through an opening in the neck. Simply impressive
- SIGMOIDAL’: a process developed to glue the top and sides together.
- A ‘floating’ armrest so as not to reduce the vibration of the soundboard. It frees up the top.
- Double top: Alpine spruce/red cedar
- Back and sides in Bolivian rosewood with sapwood.
- African ebony rosette with Baltic amber inlays
- Asymmetrical neck to take account of the size of the strings and make it easier to play
- African ebony headstock veneer and Baltic Amber inlay
- Wave-shaped bone nut and bridge
- Cosmo-black action with aluminum barrels and 18:1 ratio ebony buttons
- 1.5 mm bone position markers on the 5th and 9th frets, and 4 mm concentric position markers on the 7th and 12th frets.
- nickel-free frets
- string length 65 cm
Here is some information on Rafal Turkowiak’s activities:
We are a family-only company. I build the guitars with my two adult sons luthiers: Nikodem & Tymoteusz.
I would also like to tell you a little more about our biggest achievement which is the world patent ‘Acoustic Tubes’ – the neck is absolutely hollow inside (with a special resonant material) thanks to it the musician hears sound not only from the guitar body but also from the guitar neck. The sound is richer, sustain longer and the neck much stiffer. We are also the only ones in the world who use natural Baltic amber as an inlay material – for head plates and inlays. The usual waiting time for the players is 7up to 12 months.
