SeC Guitars – Sangirardi & Cavicchi 2023 No 67 – 2900€

We’re always on the lookout for luthier’s lattice or double-table guitars that offer sound quality and playing comfort at a reasonable price. Here are the guitars from Giulo Sangirardi & Giula Cavicchi – SeC guitars. Each year, Giula & Giulo build around ten guitars featuring a lattice bracing that uses no balsa or carbon. As you’d expect from Italian luthiers, it’s all wood, lightweight construction with an Italian spruce top, and impeccable craftsmanship. The sound is traditional but with the dynamic qualities (length of sound and harmonic resonance) of the lattice.

Giula and Giulo have worked hard to produce instruments at reasonable prices, choosing the right woods and materials without compromising on comfort or sound quality. The sound is close to that of a traditional guitar but with the dynamic attributes of the more powerful lattice guitars.
