Vincent Humml 64 cm DT 2022 No 44 – Germany
Here is the new double-top No 44 from 2022 from Vincent Humml, which differs from the No 45 with the cedar which is used as an outside wood. This guitar is one step ahead of the original double-tops made in Germany by Gernot Wagner and Matthias Dammann in the ’80s. The sound is pure, loud, very thick, and elegant. The guitar produces a three-dimension sound which is amazing.

The guitar produces a three-dimension sound which is amazing.
The craftsmanship is top-notch and tasteful. The rosette and the inlays are sort of ‘art deco’ inspired. The binding and the polish are immaculate.
The playability is as well remarkable. The guitar is highly responsive with a big response which remains however very sensitive to the player’s intentions. The basses are round and warm and the trebles clear and thick.
