These days they are may luthiers who are making Greg Smallman type guitar which means a heavy body with lattice braced. We have been blown away by Constantin Dumitriu lattice guitar

The guitar is very much inspired by the Greg Smallman concept but Constantin implemented some of his recipes. The sound is loud, warm, and well balanced. The guitar does not have the boxy sound in the bass that some bad lattice have. The playability is amazing. Last but not least a very affordable concert guitar!
