Armen Doneyan began playing at six . In 2008 he joined the Aulnay-sous-Bois Conservatoire à Rayonement Départemental and started in additionto study as well with Judicaël Perroy. Two years later, he passed with success the entry exam of the Paris Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique to study with Roland Dyens and Jean Marc Zvellenreuther.
