As you know, the innovations are key for us and more than welcome when it comes to our precious instruments. That is why we have been very curious to carefully listen to Gerard Audirac guitars. Gerard Audirac – who had been as well followed by Bastien Burlot another French luthier – is one of the rare luthier who questioned the anatomy of the guitar to improve her performances. He mostly focused on the top and finally create – first innovation – a guitar top without any sound hole. The sound-hole is moved to the upper side – second innovation. The objectif is of course to increase the top vibration surface and in the same time to provide to the player a better feedback of his playing.
