The guitar evolution in video with 4 great guitars : Torres, Ramirez, Lissarrague, Koumridis

Here is a particular video shoot with 4 amazing guitars which aims at showing how the guitar has changed in the course of the last century. The same music piece will be played on :

1. an amazing replica of Antonio Torres Franscisco Tarrega made in 1864 – The replica is by the Germany luthier Dominik Wurth
2.  a José Ramirez 1a guitar which has completely changed the guitar world starting in the 60’s
3. a lattice braced guitar from Kim Lissarrague
4. a double-top guitar from Charalampos Koumridis

That is not a ‘scientific’ video but a more empirical video.

I guess these changes are not over and for sure there will be somewhere another luthier who will once again invent an new concept for our instruments.
